GPRN/NSCN investigating ‘taxation demand’

Dimapur, May 25 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN on Monday responded to the “undesired and assumptive allegation surrounding the matter of harassment and forced taxation demand” by cadres of GPRN/NSCN on the proprietor of Progressive Motors, Darogapathar, and said that a committee has been constituted “for appropriate and befitting enquiry and investigation.”


The GPRN/NSCN MIP issued a press release on May 25 “regretting the unfortunate development befalling upon the proprietor of M/s Progressive Motors,” and stated that it has “initiated and taken up to constitute a committee for appropriate and befitting enquiry and investigation of the matter in line with maintaining our commitment for cordial and ideal relationship with the Naga people…”


It further urged the civil societies “to hold on from making unduly interpretations of the issue until then.”
