Dimapur, September 3 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN on Friday expressed profound grief at the demise of Chopongse Sangtam, Kilonser, United Sangtam Region (USR), who passed away on August 30.
Late Chopongse Sangtam joined the National service on August 2, 1997 and served with full commitment for the cause of the Naga national movement in various capacities for full 24 years till his last breath, it stated in a condolence message issued through its MIP.
“In his demise, GPRN/NSCN has loss a promising patriot and left a huge void which would be difficult to fill again. His dedicated sacrifices and contributions towards the Nation will ever be cherished and treasured in the record of Naga history,” it added.
The GPRN/NSCN conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for God to grant rest to the departed soul.
