Dimapur, August 21 (MExN): The “GPRN/NSCN” today said the “beans” on “Muivah’s unholy nexus” with Islamic terrorist groups such the Harkat-ul-Jehadi-Islami (HuJI) have been spilled. In a note today, the outfit said Hebron camp cannot deny sending a group of men to Afghanistan in the early 1990s. “No, it was neither to preach the gospel of Christ to the Afghans nor to study Urdu. There are men in Hebron camp who still brag about having gone to Afghanistan to receive military training,” the “GPRN/NSCN” stated in a note from its MIP.
The note also mentioned a number of Islamic elements implied to be working under “Hebron camp.” One self-styled “lieutenant” called Halal Uddin, “of IM” who elevated himself to a rank of “major,” earlier ran a “Nagaland Pan Shop” at PR Hill in Kohima and was engaged in extortion and other anti-social activities against non-local businessmen in the capital, the “GPRN/NSCN” stated. He also attended the Naga consultative meet at Hebron in 2004 as a “2nd lieutenant,” and played a key role in murdering Furkan, GB of Railway colony a year ago and also accompanied one Shevito Sumi when the latter murdered Atovi Sumi of Thahekhu village in February, the note said. In fact this Muslim cadre is still actively involved in identifying targets and extorting from them along with one Akhui Tangkhul, particularly at New Market areas, in Dimapur, the note said. “Halal uddin is the main link between IM and Harkat-ul-Jehadi-Islami” the note added.
Further, another Islamic element called “Azad alias Robin,” enrolled in the “civil wing,” and worked in the so-called “ministry of forest & environment of Hebron camp.” His father Pisla Manik deals in buying and selling cows, runs a slaughter house at Lhomithi Colony in Dimapur, the note said. This Muslim element “Azad alias Robin alias Abdul alias Kabir” is now actively involved in extorting Telecom departments, ‘stalling contractual works’ and also involved in collection sprees in Dimapur’s New Market “under the patronage of certain individuals at Hebron camp,” the note said.
