Speaker, NTH administering the oath to the Collective Leadership of the GPRN/NSCN.
DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 1 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN has re-elected its Collective Leadership during its ‘National Assembly’ held on October 31 at Tatar Hall, Council Headquarters (CHQ), Naga Unification Camp, Khehoyi.
“As enshrined in Part III Article 17 (a) of the Yehzabo, with the expiry of the present term of office and subsequent fresh mandate and endorsement of the National Assembly, General (Retd) MB Neokpao Konyak and N Kitovi Zhimomi are re-elected as President/Chairman and General Secretary/Ato Kilonser of the GPRN/NSCN respectively for another six years term with effect from the November 1, 2022,” a press release from the MIP, GPRN/NSCN informed.
Huvito Yeputhomi, Speaker of National Tatar Hoho administered Oath of Allegiance/Office of Secrecy to the newly re-elected Collective Leadership.
Alezo Venuh, Envoy to the Collective leadership while delivering a congratulatory note expressed gratitude and optimism upon the newly re-elected leaders and affirmed the full support and co-operation of the House towards the Collective Leadership.
Meanwhile, Jack Zhimomi, Kilo Kilonser read out the September 28,2022 Declaration made during the Kilo (Home) Ministry Meeting with the regional authorities of GPRN/NSCN in support and endorsement of the Collective Leadership.
The assembly concluded with prayer and invocation of blessing from Mankhe Konyak, Associate Pastor, CHQ Church upon the newly re-elected Collective Leadership along with senior national workers above the age of 75.
