DIMAPUR, JUNE 27 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN has released an official statement affirming the unity and unwavering support within the Khiamniungan Region of the GPRN/NSCN towards its leadership. This comes amidst reports of attempts to incite unrest by individuals posing as workers of the region.
"The Khiamniungan Region GPRN/NSCN is fully intact and we extend unwavering support to President Gen. (Retd.) M.B. Neokpao Konyak and Ato Kilonser Ino Alezo Venuh," stated Tenyah, the R.A.O. of the Khiamniungan Region.
The press release further addressed the issue of impersonation by certain elements, who are allegedly mobilizing under the guise of Khiamniungan region workers. "However, some unscrupulous elements, in an attempt to incite unrest, are posing as Khiamniungan region workers and allegedly mobilizing under Khiamniungan jurisdiction," the statement read.
The GPRN/NSCN called for these individuals with vested interests to halt their activities immediately. "Therefore, those with vested interests are asked to immediately cease their operations as we, the Khiamniungan Region, uphold the Resolution of the Kilo Ministry of 20th June, 2024," added Tenyah.
The GPRN/NSCN reiterated its commitment to maintaining order and supporting its established leadership, urging the public to be cautious of misinformation and activities that aim to destabilize the region.
