Dimapur, June 17 (MExN): In view of what it termed as “the prior commitments which needed urgent attention of the officials at home”, GPRN/NSCN shall not be participating in the forthcoming Chiangmai Meeting. This was stated in a press note issued by MIP. The GPRN/NSCN has however assured the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR), political groups, Quaker friends and well wishers of the Naga people that while GPRN/NSCN delegation may not be present physically at the meet, “the undying hope and vision of the Naga people for genuine Reconciliation will ever be the commitment of the GPRN/NSCN” and that the “bountiful support and co-operation towards FNR’s Journey of Common Hope shall go on undisturbed”.
