GPS Lukhami kicks off academic year 2020

Seyochung EAC, Moasunep K Jingru along with students, teachers, parents and village elders after the programme at Government Primary School, Lukhami.

DIMAPUR, March 2 (MExN): The Government Primary School Lukhami kicked off its academic session 2020 with Moasunep K Jingru, Extra Assistant Commissioner, Seyochung as the special guest. 

Speaking at the programme, he said that students and children are the future of the family and the success of the student is reaped by the village and entire community. He however, noted that it is a continuous process which requires years of dedication and hard work from all corner – teachers, parents and the community. The EAC hoped that the school would continue to progress in the same way as it began. 

The EAC Seyochung also communicated to the VEC to adopt the school and also gave his assurance to support the school in all the way possible.

A short speech was delivered by V Kaito Yeptho, Head GB. Earlier, delivering the welcome address, Tokato Z Sumi, Teacher I/C illustrated how the school academic session began and how the school management is working hand in hand with teaching staff to mould the school into a model school. A representation was also submitted to EAC to take up the school as model school. Vote of thanks was delivered by Iheshe N Katty, VEC chairman.
