Grace Society CBR distributed relief materials to 265 Persons with Disabilities under Changtongya and Chuchu block of Langpangkong range of Mokokchung District.
Changtongya, June 8 (MExN): The Grace Society Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) in collaboration with Caritas India CBRF and with assistance from Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung distributed relief materials to 265 Persons’ with Disabilities under Changtongya and Chuchu block of Langpangkong range of Mokokchung District.
The programme was a part of the COVID-19 pandemic relief fund facilitated by CARITAS India CBRF.
Various essential commodities including rice, dal, potatoes, mustard oil, sanitizers and medicines were distributed to Persons with Disabilities under the project area in presence of Leaders Disable People Organization (DPO) and various stakeholders of the project area covering 13 villages and 13 townships.
Director of Grace Society, R Gonmei especially thanked the Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung for providing rice to be distributed in addition to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic relief project carried out by Grace Society.
