In observance of World Environment Day 2026, Green Club Zunheboto, in collaboration with the District Forest Department, Zunheboto, organised a sapling distribution programme at Center Point, Zunheboto on June 4, under the theme “Inspired by Nature, For Climate, For Our Future.”

As part of the initiative, cherry and gooseberry tree saplings were distributed to schools across the district to promote environmental awareness and encourage students to actively participate in nature conservation efforts.
