DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 15 (MExN): The 31st Annual Sports Meet of Greenwood School culminated with a healthy competition. Four houses (Blue, Red, Green, Yellow) with number of good competitors took part in different events on October 15th 2011. The Director of the school Mr.Asa Khate and the administrator Mr.P.Lohe Sakhrie strongly encouraged all the competitors to perform their best and in true sportsmanship.
All together 45 events were conducted in last 3 days. The events were long jump, high jump, shot put, discuss throw,badminton,table tennis,sepak takraw,football and moreover the track events were much more excited with their strong determination.
All the competitors were very enthusiastic in their winning determination. The Sports Meet ended with football match and followed by prize distribution. A competitive spirit where all the students learnt to be more punctual as well as more disciplined, promising better sporting spirit present as well as in the years to come. “Sports bring unity and prosperity that is proven by systemic minds of each and every student in Greenwood School”, stated a press note from the school.
