‘Grow More Produce More Earn More’ prog in Longleng

Longleng, May 5 (MExN): Department of Horticulture, Government of Nagaland led by Additional Secretary, Zarenthung Ezung visited Longleng district on May 6. According to a DIPR report, the visit was for the programme with various Agri allied departments of Longleng under the vision ‘Grow More Produce More Earn More’ at EBRC Hall Longleng.

The Additional Secretary said that the purpose for the visit was to create awareness among farmers and know the clear cut assessment from the grassroot level, to collect data and identify the farmers. “The mission is for new policy based on ground reality,” he stated.

Earlier, the programme was chaired by Y Bongti Konyak, Dy Director, Horticulture, N Kinimi, DHO Longleng delivered the welcome address and vote of thanks was delivered by Pongshak Phom, AHO Longleng.
