Dimapur, October 2 (MExN): The Food and Civil Supplies, Dimapur in continuation to previous office order and circulars has issued guidelines/instructions to fair price shops under Dimapur district.
1. The fair price shops (urban/rural) under Dimapur District are directed to open their respective Fair Price Shops on Thursday, Friday and Saturday every week of the month from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
2. The eligible beneficiaries under National Food Security Act 2013 should not be deprived or denied of their allotted quota of essential commodities due to non- seeding/non-enrolment of Aadhaar to their ration cards.
3. The eligible beneficiaries/ration card holders under National Food Security Act 2013 are directed to furnish proof of possession of aadhaar number or undergo Aadhaar enrolment at the earliest in order to receive their entitlements as stated in the AADHAAR ACT 2016. Meanwhile, the beneficiaries can produce pan card, driving license, bank pass book, government issued identity cards, voter epic card, electricity bills as alternative while their aadhaar is under process.
4. The Fair Price Shops are to display clearly in a prominent place inside the FPS the rate and scale of issue of the commodities.
5. For any grievances relating to the provisions under the National Food Security Act 2013, the beneficiaries can approach the grievance Redressal Officer of the Assistant Director, Food and Civil Supplies, Bank Colony: Dimapur and the Additional Deputy Commissioner (HQ) who has been designated as the District Grievances Redressal Officer.
