GVC notifies on ‘fake govt registered societies’

Peren, October 28 (MExN): The Gaili Village Council (GVC) has notified that many “fake government registered societies” in the name of Gaili village are functioning without the “legal authority.” The council, therefore, appeal to all such societies to appear before the Gaili Village Council from the date of issue of this notice till December 31, 2016 “to avoid further action.”  

GVC chairman Hegapungbe Haikube in a press release said that the council during its executive meeting passed the resolution regarding the “fake government registered societies” and request all HoDs not to entertain anyone without proper scrutiny of the societies concerned.  

Moreover, the council appeals to the HoDs that any project of contract should not be issued to any society/organisatio/individual in the jurisdiction of Gaili Village without the proper recommendation of the village authority.  “Many fake government registered societies in the name of Gaili village are functioning without the knowledge of the authority concerned,” added the GVC chairman Hegapungbe Haikube.
