Peren, July 10 (MExN): The 5th 6-week handicraft training programme at Henpu Craft Centre, Ahthibung was inaugurated on July 10. The inauguration programme was organized in collaboration with Kuki Students' Organisation, Nagaland (KSON), Training Instructor Henpu Gamlhou and 36th Assam Rifles, Ahthibung.
Chaired by Paotinmang, general secretary, KSON, the programme was attended by Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency (NBDA), Zeliang Kuki People's Organization, KMA Ahthibung, GBs Ahthibung, Ahthibung Town Committee, social workers, among others.
A press release informed that speeches were delivered by Kevin Solo, Member, NBM-IT, NBDA, Er. Imkonglemba, member, NBM- IT, Lamjasei Singson, President, ZKPO, Henpu Gamlhou, Training Instructor, Dr. Vezokholu Khamo, MO, Ayush Ahthibung PHC, Thanglun Sitlhou, Secretary, VDB Songlhuh.
Around 60 persons attended the programme, where invocation was pronounced by Lallet Mangjel, CRC Ahthibung and closing prayer pronounced by Pr. Janglam Singson, KBC Ahthibung.
