Kohima, August 3 (MExN): A preparatory meeting to celebrate Handloom Day on August 5 was held today at the School of Agricultural Sciences and Rural Development (SASARD) Medziphema under Nagaland University with Prof. T. Lanusosang Pro Vice Chancellor in the chair.
The meeting was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Textiles, ST Subramanian, Deputy Director, Weaver Service Center (WSC) Dimapur and MangjangamTouthang , Regional Director Directorate of Field Publicity (DFP), Kohima representing Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The Handloom Day will be celebrated at the School of Agricultural Sciences and Rural Development (SASARD) Medziphema on the August 5 at 11:00am.
