Noklak, May 22 (MExN): Hanyuk village under Noklak district got its official recognition on May 21.
Accordingly, a recognition programme was held in the village with Deputy Commissioner of Noklak, Arikumba, as the special guest, who also unveiled a monolith.
Addressing the gathering, the DC advised the citizens of the newly recognised village to plan for the future through collective decisions.
He also urged them to cooperate with the Government in all aspects for the smooth development of the village. Arikumba also expressed gratitude to the Government of Nagaland for the early recognition of the village, as well as to those contributing their time and service for this purpose.
Representatives from neighbouring villages also spoke on the occasion and shared their joy over the recognition of the village, reported the State DIPR.
They further assured to live, helping each other in peace and unity for a better future, it added.
