Congress govt rule our state 20 years but we have not seen any development not even 20 new govt building, not even 100 km new road. When Congress govt rule our state congress govt always blame others because of law and order there is no development in our state. Congress cannot fool Naga people. Naga people know who is working and who is always blaming others. Why our Naga leaders are so foolish? Why always blame others? Congress has ruled twenty years. But when Congress is rule, congress always blame it to law and order, underground, extortion, etc because of this there is no development. If this is true, is there no law and order, no underground, no extortion under DAN govt. If DAN govt blame and do the same. What Congress will do and reply. Naga leader must not be a fool. • Many basic infrastructures need to be developed sufficiently. But the infrastructure that need immediate and planned action is the condition of the ROADS. Roads in Nagaland are a MESS!!.Road are the gateway to development. Movement and transport becomes difficult due to bad roads. In this condition, how can a district or a region develop. Give the people good roads, and they will develop by themselves by their own ingenuity and hardwork. Without good roads, all our efforts on development will be like flogging a dead horse.

• Basic infrastructure for providing quality education, accessible health care, efficient connectivity, adequate power and clean drinking water are still lacking in most parts of Nagaland. The development perimeter refuses to expand beyond Kma, Dmp & mkg!.
• considering the fact that we were hunting heads a couple of decades back i would say that we have come a long way i.e infrastructure development but its not upto the par and what little we have it is not valued
• Maintenance of those small infrastructure we have is a problem. For instance, we don't build a good drainage system so when it rains, our drainage overflows with all kinds of rubbish including pebbles, stones, broken glasses, plastic, iron and what have you and our vehicles running over these debris spoil the surface and within no time our roads are full of potholes. We must insist that all our roads have a good drainage system. Otherwise any number of hornbill festivals and the repairs that precede it will not help improve our roads.
• We have no sufficient water in many towns in Nagaland during the dry season. Once I asked a lady in a hotel for water to wash my hands before eating. She told me: " Use a spoon we don't have sufficient water to drink so we cannot spare you water to wash hands." Now, in many Rest Houses in Nagaland, they have installed the western commode in the toilet when there is no sufficient water to flush it down. That is the logic of our planning and the way we are developing our infrastructure. We cannot approach the toilet because it is like the Western commode in the Indian railways!
