Has Nagaland government managed to establish a self-sustaining music industry? Give Reasons

Some of those who voted YES had this to say:
•    Yes. It is still in nascent form but it can become a self sustaining industry if the government continues to promote and help.

•    Yes. Compared to where the music scene was before, I think the state government has really helped in organising the music community in a positive way.

Some of those who voted NO had this to say:
•    No. Instead the opposite holds true. Most of the musicians now depend on govt events for them to make some decent living. From the start the approach of the government was wrong. It made musicians dependent on government sponsored events.

•    I don't see any popularity of music to reach massive in reward.

•    Our music industry lacks brand management, marketing strategy, professionalism and wider exposure through proper social media platforms. Originality is absent and we have to create a niche for our local musicians in the global music scene if we want make it self-sustaining.

•    Not at all. Far from it. Na aaah. With this rate we ain't progressing coz no support for the local artists and upcoming stars.

Some of those who voted OTHERS had this to say:
•    Boring topic???

•    The Question in itself is flawed. The Nagaland music industry in itself cannot become a self sustainable industry. Due to lack of scale and outreach.
