Actor Akshay Kumar says he detests nation-bashing in films. “It’s (Airlift) not about a nation, it’s about saving people. I hate any kind of nation-bashing in films. I don’t like it,” the actor told the media here on Thursday while promoting his forthcoming film “Airlift”. Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, “Airlift” also stars “The Lunchbox” fame actress Nimrat Kaur. Akshay plays a character who had a crucial role in the evacuation of Kuwait-based Indians during the Iraq-Kuwait war in 1990.
