Dimapur, March 4 (MExN): Hazi Park Welfare Committee president I Pihoto Awomi has in a press release stated that, demands for donations have increased manifold in the Hazi Park area “and it seems our Naga brothers are running short of manpower to execute their evil designs.” The president mentioned that it has been observed “the non-locals particularly Bangladeshis are being employed to go for the collection drive and they are doing their part with scant respect for even us Nagas.”
Hence, he has pleaded to all those who use illegal immigrants to carry out the above mentioned activity to desist from the practice “as there is always a threat that they may one day end up as victims of their own designs.”
The president stated that Hazi Park Welfare Committee (Hongkong Market) established in the year 1978, is one of the oldest bodies working for the welfare of the business community of the area. “We have been extending co-operation and support to all organisations over the years and have been working with mutual understanding and brotherhood,” he added.
