The Health Centre Management Committee (HCMC) Noksen town and the Village Health Committee Litem provided face masks and food items to elderly people on May 20 and 21.
TUENSANG, MAY 22 (MExN): In view of the hardships faced by the citizens under the nationwide lockdown, the Health Centre Management Committee (HCMC) Noksen Town and Village Health Committee (VHC) Litem Village under the aegis of Nagaland Health Project (NHP), distributed face masks and nutritional supplements to senior citizens and the needy on May 20 and May 21.
Earlier in the month of May, taking stock of the shortage of face masks in the market, the HCMC Chessore Town in collaboration with Joint Students Union of Chessore Town and Chessore Village, took the initiative to stitch the face masks and distributed them to the citizens.
A press release from the DPMU, NHP, Tuensang informed that since its inception, the Nagaland Health Project has enhanced the capacity of 55 health committees in Tuensang district.
