Peren, March 13 (MExN): The District Health Society, Peren will be conducting a multispecialty Health Mela on March 16 at New Tesen village, Tening block Peren District.
According to a press release from the office of the Chief Medical Officer, Peren, multispecialty doctors will be available for Obstetrics & Gynae, Rural Surgeon, Pediatrics (Child Specialist), Medicine Specialist, EYE Specialist and Dental Surgeon.
Apart from free health checkups and distribution of free medicines, sensitization of public in the form of one to one and Focus Group Discussions by the IEC Personnel will be conducted. On spot immunization, various laboratory tests, family planning services such as Copper T INSERT IGNOREion, Ante Natal Check up for pregnant mothers will also be done. Free nutritional packages will also be distributed to the pregnant mothers coming for check up.
Also, in view of the “World Glaucoma Week” free screening camp for glaucoma and cataract cases will be conducted starting from March 12 till 18, the release informed.
In this regard, the CMO Peren has informed public of Tening block and nearby villages to avail the various health services at the Health Mela.
