Heart-broken News

We are stunned and heartbroken at the news of a couple being gunned down by unknown miscreants. I do not have the power to judge the situation or pretend to be an arbiter for reasons unascertained yet. However, the situation is sobering enough to wake our consciousness as our own flesh and blood are slayed and spilled on the ground. Serious deliberations and heads should be put together in bringing out the truth to the table at the earliest. This should not be left up in the air again. In a time like this, as one of the writer in the dailies has pointed out, disseminating of the gory sights of those deceased should be cautiously shunned in the social networking as we need to empathize with the bereaved family of the slain.

At this juncture condemnations of the acts are pouring in but these are insufficient unless justice is brought to light. Time and again, the innocent public are harassed and killed mercilessly. Our heart goes out to the orphaned kids who are left to bear the bruises of brutality and cold-blooded murder of their parents. Time will not heal the wounds and scars will remain. But, we pray that the concerned guardian will take good care of them and nurture the kids in the path of God’s love and forgiveness.
