Kohima, September 19 (MExN): A one day workshop on Hepatitis B and C (HBV and HCV) will be conducted on September 21 at the conference Hall of the Health Department, with HOD, AHODs and officials of the Health Department, Government of Nagaland to deliberate and plan for future course of programs to be undertaken by the Government of Nagaland. The programme will also be attended by some Private Hospitals and Pharma Companies. This will serve as a platform between the Govt, NGOs and Hospitals and provide better insights for Nagaland Government to address the burden of HBV and HCV in the state. The workshop is jointly being organized by Kripa Foundation-Project Sunrise, Health Department, NSACS and FHI 360. Resource persons will be from ICMR, Kolkata Dr Samiran Panda and Dr Saubhik Gosh while Maongwati Aier, Secretary, Health and Family Welfare will address the gathering as the guest of honor.
