High Tupperware business attracts GM visit

Dimapur, Jan 18 (MExN): Helping others has been the hallmark of a career in Tupperware for about 55 years worldwide, offering the tools of opportunity especially to women, assistance to customers with products and information to care for their families, and supporting charities with fund-raising events and direct donations. For the last four years Tupperware has emerged popular in Nagaland with an increasing number of both working and non-working women taking up the opportunity to covert time to money.

This lady sitting elegant, Asha Gupta, General Manager of Tupperware India told The Morung Express on her visit to Nagaland how Naga women are responding to the International Company, Tupperware. Her reason for visiting Nagaland remains in the fact that Nagaland is among the States with the highest Tupperware consumers in India.

Tupperware is a zero investment business unlike other central marketing firms or undertakings which require personal investments. It provides free training, communication and presentation skills. In other words it will transform you into a more successful, positive woman, added Asha with a smile. The General Manager also said that the reasons why the business was confined to women taking up the venture was flexibility of time, greater opportunity for an augmented income with insubstantial investment and avenues for higher earnings at par with protocol jobs.

Relatively, Aleno Doulo, the distributor for Nagaland, has been selected for a very special award; the “Crown of Achievement”. She is among the top five distributors in India.  It may be mentioned that only 15 women are selected for this award from the country. Aleno will soon be packing her bags and flying to Paris in a month’s time to receive the award.
