Dimapur, January 16: The Hindi teachers appointed under Central Sponsored Scheme 2012-13 have urged the government to release the pending salary for the month of December 2013 and arrear of the year 2013. All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (2012-13 batch), Executive Member, Nelson Yhokha in a press release stated that it queried on how arrear of some SDEO has been released with lesser amount?, why there is no timely uniform in releasing the salary of these 1379 Hindi teachers? Moreover, why these teachers are been treated with harassment by delaying the salaries for 4-5 months?
It requested to the Government of Nagaland to look into the matter at the earliest keeping the view of the suffering teachers before any unwanted situation and misunderstanding arises between the authority and the suffering teachers. The Union also appealed to release the pending salary and arrear at the earliest.
