HMF to feature Swarathma
India's top folk rock band- Swarathma is all set to perform at the Hornbill Music Festival as part of Hornbill Festival of Nagaland 2019.
Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) announced that Swarathma will perform at Kisama main arena on December 7 at 4:30 PM.
They next day (November 8), they will perform at “The Big Stage,” Agri Expo, Dimapur.
Rolling Stone magazine described Swarathma band as the "Sound of guitar, bass, drums and India."
Their music is Indian folk blended with contemporary rock, blues and reggae.
Hailing from Bengaluru, they sing in Hindi and Kannada about the world both around us and within us.
Their latest album Raah e Fakira went to #1 on the iTunes all genre chart.
It came with a 40 page graphic storybook that one can pick up on their website.
They have been featured on MTV Unplugged Season 5 and have toured extensively around the world in the UK, Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore and Morocco.
The band feature Joel Milan on drums, Varun Murali on guitars, Sanjeev Nayak on violin, Jishnu Dasgupta on bass and Vasu Dixit on vocals and guitar.
