Kohima, January 12 (DIPR): A review meeting for celebration of Republic day on 26th January 2011 was held with the AHODs/HODs on 11th January 2011 at the Secretariat Conference Hall, Kohima under the chairmanship of ACS & Development Commissioner, Alemtemshi Jamir, IAS.
The meeting reviewed the arrangements and allocation of works to different departments for celebration of Republic Day. The meeting also resolved to organize a mass social work on 15th January 2011 in Kohima town and further decided that staff attendance will be monitored at the Secretariat Plaza on the Republic day.
All departments have been directed to comply with the meeting decision. The meeting also entrusted Deputy Commissioner, Kohima and Kohima Municipal council to monitor/mobilize and encourage the public to participate in the mass social work. The meeting appealed to the public/government servants and nearby villagers to attend the republic day function.
The Chairman further apprised the members about the status of the state revenue and appealed to all to entertain outsiders to invest in Nagaland for productive ventures for future economic progress of the State.
