Mopungchuket Youth Ministry in Mopungchuket village organized a one-day holistic skills development seminar under the theme ‘skill development a dire need,’ under the sponsorship of Go Give Hope Ministry.
Resource persons, C Bendangonen Jamir, Mission Director, Chuchuyimlang Baptist Church and Dr Sentitula, IFS, Division Forest Officer Mokokchung, focused on smart farming- the attitude of mastering the science to perfect the art whilst aiming at being a biblical entrepreneur. They emphasized on initiative, creativity and excellence as the key elements towards a holistic skill development.
In the first session on ‘Christian Entrepreneurship,’ C Bendangonen Jamir, mentioned the need to identify and understand one's own calling by exploring opportunities, taking risks, solving problems and exercising biblical stewardship for heavenly profit.
Dr Sentitula conducted a session on ‘life skills and livelihood’ where she highlighted the challenges that limit a person in developing life skills to the fullest and spoke on adopting smart and integrated farming.
The two-session seminar was followed by a dynamic interaction session.
