Kohima, November 15 (MExN): The Home Department in a notification has informed that officers and staff under the establishments of Nagaland House at Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Shillong including VIP Guest House Kohima have been functioning without any service rules. According to a press release by DIPR, there is dire necessity to have proper service rules to control, monitor and guide the officers and staff under these various establishments. Hence a committee has been constituted to examine the draft service rules with following members: Secretary Home (GAB) - Chairman, Representative from P&AR Deptt - Member Secretary, Representative from Finance Deptt - Member, Representative from Law Deptt – Member, DRC Kolkata - Member, DRC Delhi - Member. Terms of reference stated are - the Committee will examine the draft service Rules in detail and prepare final draft service Rules within 3 months time, the Committee may also make exercise for framing a model staffing pattern for Nagaland Houses/Medical Lodges.
