With the objective to promote the local craftsmen and artisans and create a platform to promote other indigenous art forms related to bamboo, the Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency is organizing the annual “Hornbill Bamboo Carnival” at the Nagaland Bamboo Resource Centre, Dimapur, to be held from December 6 to 8 coinciding with the State’s Annual Hornbill Festival.
A press release issued by Imtirenla Jamir, NCS Mission Director, NBDA stated that the Carnival will feature an array of activities and events including exhibition and sale of various bamboo products from across the State, Food Courts in the Bamboo Garden, Fun and Games for children in the Bamboo Children’s Park, etc.
Various Self Help Groups and entrepreneurs will be taking part in the event. The Agency invites everyone to be part of this event.
