The fourth day of the Hornbill Festival at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama registered 11,455 visitors today. Out of this, 233 were foreigners, 2511 domestic tourists, and 8711 local visitors from across Nagaland, according to Tourist Officer Toka E Tuccumi, statistical-in-charge.
With this, the number of visitors to Kisama since day one of the festival has reached 84,545.
12,200 visitors registered on first day, 18,346 on second day, and 42,544 on third day.
Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh and Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu will grace the 5th day of the festival at Kisama as chief guest and guest of honour respectively. The event will start at 11:00 am.
Nagaland Chief Minister TR Zeliang will deliver welcome address while the function will be chaired by Nagaland Chief Secretary Pankaj Kumar.
Cultural troupes from both Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh will also perform alongside Naga cultural troupes.
Alongside the normal daily activities and events, Day 5 (December 5) will also be marked by Indigenous Go-Cart Racing, Ist Hornbill International Strongest man and fittest man competition, 6th Hornbill Riders Meet, Stilts Bamboo Race, Glocal Hornbill International Film Festival (Short films from North America and Nagaland), Open Air Concert, Hornbill International Rock Contest- Audition round etc.
