Our Correspondent Kisama | December 9 Likho Sangma representing Garo tribe emerged the winner of traditional shot put competition organized by department of youth resources and sports as part of the Hornbill Festival of Nagaland here at Kisama.
Kelesho representing Angami tribe stood second position while Chinglei from Phom tribe stood third place.
Traditional shot put game is played by various tribes of Nagaland. In this game, the contestants put their best strength and technique to throw stone weighing around 6 kg to the maximum distance.
This is a very popular game played by men folk during the festive season.
