Kohima, May 18 (MExN): The House of Prayer Ministries (HPM) celebrated its 10th foundation day with book launch on May 16 at Nagabazar Panchayat Hall, Kohima.
The programme was presided over by Dr Ruokuozelie Pienyü, President of HPM.
Rev Dr Visielie Angami, Founder Principal of Faith Theological Seminary, in his message, shared the theme, Isaiah 57:14.
He urged the congregations, to remove all the obstacles and stumbling blocks in the way for God’s blessings to flow into the societies, prayer centres, churches, fellowships, ministries, prayer groups, families, and individuals, and also to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
A book on “Holistic Christian Music: The Vibrant Praise and Worship” authored by Dr Ruokuozelie Pienyü was released on this event.
The book was released by the speaker Rev Dr Visielie Angami.
Speaking about the book, Vilakhonuo Pienyü, General Secretary, Crown of Life Ministries, the publisher, in the foreword said, “This book, he endows, with an extensively practical assemblage of modern context and practical methodologies for enhancing a worship activity. By captivating a fresh appearance at the Naga context, he recognizes an ample resource in the endeavour to enhance worship leaders and congregation learning.”
In his brief highlight on the book, the author said, “The three years monumental labour is ultimately complete and as the book title designates, the endeavour has been to merge into single volume.”
He further said, “This book has four parts: holistic Christian music, music theory, musical symbols, and the vibrant praise and worship.”
“The book,” he said, “explores how performance, engaging audiences, the social interaction between people and technology, and the creation of their own unique sound on their musical instruments are linked to visual approaches placed in the Naga context.”
The foundation day programme started with Bible reading by Perhielhoulie Pienyü, founder patron of HPM, from Old Testament and Krupanuo Pienyü, prayer coordinator of HPM, from New Testament.
Special praise was presented by Khrievinuo Pienyü, women coordinator of HPM.
Vilakhonuo Pienyü, General Secretary of HPM, gave the financial and ministry report.
Offertory prayer was pronounced by Neisabeinuo Solo, pastor of Nagaland Women Prayer Centre. The event unfolded with the special number by Zion Mission Church, Hosanna Prayer Centre, Nagamese Baptist Church and Immanuel Prayer Fellowship.
