Kohima, July 6 (MExN): Minister for Higher and Technical Education, Temjen Imna Along Longkumer on Thursday announced that he will donate his 15 months’ salary to the fifteen government colleges in Nagaland. Minister Along made the first donation towards Kohima College while gracing the 51st Freshers’ Day of Kohima College as guest speaker on July 5.
Kohima College in a press release issued by the Mass Media Cell stated that the Minister also promised to take two students from each of the colleges to Delhi to meet the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi this year. He further stated that he would organize an Olympiad next year for all the government colleges of Nagaland with Kohima College as the host college.
