Students of Nagaland Police Central School, Chümoukedima participating in the yoga session organized by the HUDCO Regional Office, Dimapur on August 9.
CHÜMOUKEDIMA, AUGUST 11 (MExN): In connection with International Yoga Day, the HUDCO Regional Office, Dimapur organized a yoga session for the students at Nagaland Police Central School, Chümoukedima, on August 9 as part of its (CSR) initiative. Following the yoga session, a tree plantation program was conducted as part of the campaign involving the students.
A press release informed that the program began with opening remarks by Bendangchuba, Head Master of Nagaland Police Central School, Chümoukedima. Following this, M. Nishikanta Singh, Regional Chief, HUDCO Dimapur Regional Office addressed the gathering of teachers and students, highlighting HUDCO’s operations across the nation and particularly in the North Eastern States under Dimapur RO.
An interactive yoga session, including both theory and practice, was then conducted by the school’s yoga instructor in the school hall. Approximately 160 students, 18 teachers, and HUDCO RO Dimapur staff were present. The session demonstrated and explained various forms of yoga, focusing on its benefits for overall physical and mental health. The students and staff participated enthusiastically in the program.
Yoga mats, T-shirts, and caps featuring the HUDCO logo were distributed among the students and supporting staff, along with refreshments.
