Dimapur, May 14 (MExN): Dimapur Police seized around 950 cases of illegal IMFL worth several lakhs of rupees in the market on May 12. The staff of Diphupar Police Station led by IPS probationer Vrinda Shukla intercepted the truck transporting the consignment in Chumukedima area, PRO, Dimapur Police informed in a press release. The seized truck was also found with fake registrations, the PRO said, adding the driver arrested has been identified as one Ranjit Chetri. A case is under investigation at the Diphupar Police Station, the release added. Online fraud victims informed Meanwhile, Dimapur Police has informed victims of online frauds and cheating, especially connected to similar cases for which recent arrests were made from outside the state, to come forward and report to the East Police Station. The police believe that there are more victims from within the state whose cases are unreported, the press release said.
