Human and Nature

Life and Death are natural phenomenon that exist in the spiritual culture of humanity. Where there is life, there is death too. They are inevitably inseparable from one's life. This process of life and death holds no meaning without nature. Religious Founders, Philosophers and Moralists, Art and Literary Figures, Pedagogues and Medical Workers; all these human civilizations exist on nature. However there seems to be lost of essential components for the existence of nature. This indicates the careless interference of human towards the nature. Anthropogenic impact on the environment brings change to biological environments and ecosystems, biodiversity and natural resources causing directly or indirectly such as global warming, environmental degradation, mass extinction, biodiversity loss, ecological crisis, loss of historical monuments and evolutionary history.

The functional requirements of human and nature are interdependent and so we are bonded with the mysterical existence of Nature. Early nature-connection by the human makes the environmental education more effective in the later years. We are reminded of tragedy and beauty of nature and more. It is hard for human to face the harshness of nature. Tragedy cause by nature is destructive, critical, independent and it is difficult to live under such a regime. Recalling tragic incidents occurred long time ago causes mental health problems; depression, stress and sometimes it even limits our ability.

People long to live peacefully with their offspring as one cannot live alone. However, human nature is traditionally believed to exist somehow independently of individuals. We consider ourselves as the most intelligent and wise among the living beings. We control mother earth. Although human is a part of nature, the relationship between human and nature is not well understood. Human harm nature and natural resources derived from nature are taken for granted. Competition among the people is taking a toll on the nature. The more there is human development, the destruction of nature is worsen. Even though we know nature is good, but our mind overlook. The negligence upon the nature among the competitors have brought in an adverse effect, causing communal riots and economic and political upheavals. Children are affected the most by such experience aftermath with a cluster of physical and mental symptoms;  unexpected pain, sleeplessness, nightmare, restlessness, loss of appetite and fear of sounds. This has long withdrawn the development process and interrupted natural system of interrelationship. As family is bonded by blood so also family members are bonded to community and community to society and nature. Narrow mindedness causes us to be selfish. We move out from family to be associated to community and community to society under certain limitations. Such limitations, distance nature and human and between humans. If this continues, no one can remember the origin of human love. Ostensibly the continuation of protecting ones community will make feelings of "ism"  stronger. Nobody can escape from this flow of conflict spirit of nature. We are bound to depend on each other.

We grew up along with nature; air, water, soils, sunlight, trees, etc. We are intertwined by unforgotten stories. It was during summer, one sunny day I was with my friends beneath the trees, we sat, chatted, relaxed and ate fruits. After which we parted ways and some went to a far off place, not to meet some still. I may not remember them everyday but the memories created during our youth days cannot be forgotten. Also, this place is one such place where our forefathers had fought battles. Their hard work, broad view and stories are source of courage wisdom, pride, love, hope, peace and progression for the new generations. This indicates we, the human are deeply connected to the nature.  And so, such moments remind the world the interdependence of human and nature.
