Dimapur, June 21 (MExN): Hindu Yuva Sanga (HYS) organized its 5th Open Drawing Competition cum Felicitation Programme for HSLC and HSSLC merit holders 2018 at RJHSS here on June 17. 500 participants from all over the town took part in the competition, informed a press release from HYS. The winners of the competition were: Group A - Pranita Sen, Group B - Reeva Sharma, Group C - Egeta Das, Group D - Tsuzolu Rhakho, and Group E - Ashim Paul. Art exhibition was also organized during the event. In the evening, the felicitation programme was held where merit students of HSLC and HSSLC exam were given certificates of achievement and mementos. Further, a cultural fashion show showcasing the diversity of the Hindu culture was arranged along with cultural songs and dances, the release informed. The special guest of the evening was Kilemtoshi Jamir, ACP, SB, Dimapur and the guest of honour was Arvind Damani, North East Coordinator, BJP Youth Wings. To boost the spirit of members of HYS, Kaushik Dasgupta, Ratnadeep Bhattacharjee, Subhojit Mukherjee, Pranab Poddar and Deepraj Das were awarded with certificates for their valuable contribution and selfless service, it added. The special guest and guest of honor were gifted paintings drawn by Ashim Dutta and Manjit Mukherjee.
