Kohima, November 30 (MExN): The Indian Air Force would be carrying air display to celebrate on the momentous occasion of the 55th Statehood Day in Kohima with the people of Nagaland, in the morning session at Secretariat complex Dare Devil IAF para jumpers will be dropped from 10000 ft by IAF chopper and land in Kohima Civil Secretariat ground, the citizen of Kohima could witness this at 9:00 am, there will also be para motoring display in the venue location, this is being conducted by IAF adventure cell.
In the afternoon show at the Kisama heritage site MI 17 helicopters will be carrying out petal drop at 3.40 pm and at 3.50 pm three Aircraft Sukhoi 30 fighter formation would be carrying out low fly past over the venue and fly over Kohima town, the air display is the first air show the people of Nagaland would witnessing in the capital, this was made possible because of the joint effort and coordination of state government, office of Rajya Sainik Board Kohima, office of Project Director (IAF)Nagaland and Hq Eastern Air Command (IAF) Shillong.
DIPR in a report has informed that all citizens are welcomed to witness the air show as per the timing over the Kohima skies.
