Mokokchung, April 19 (MExN): A delegation from Indian Air Force (IAF) led by Wing Commander S Shanmugam, Commanding Officer 11 Airmen Selection Centre, Guwahati visited the Fazl Ali College (FAC) Mokokchung on April 18 and interacted with the students and faculty.
As per a press release from the college, Shanmugam shared with the students on various career opportunities and benefits in IAF.
Among others, he covered various topics on IAF such as different types of entry points; different branches; monetary benefits for both Officers and Airmen; and career progression.
The students actively participated by asking various questions relevant to the topics. Meanwhile, a DIPR report added that the IAF team also called on Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh on the same day to discuss the feasibility of conducting a Rally in the District as well as to spread awareness in IAF. The DC assured the IAF Team of all support towards the effort of the team IAF, it said.
On April 18, the IAF team also held a meeting with DC Zunheboto, Rahul Bhanudas Mali at DC’s chamber to discuss the feasibility of conducting a recruitment rally at the district as well as to spread awareness about various job opportunities in IAF.
The DC while thanking the purpose of the visit, assured team IAF of all necessary support towards its efforts, informed another DIPR report.
