Jalukie, April 21 (MExN): The first phase of literary competition 2018 of Ibaung Thou Memorial School, Jalukie was held on April 21.
The competition, participated by 68 students, included quiz for students from class 8 to 10, painting for class 5 to 7, and drawing for class 2 to 4.
Quiz competition covered areas like Indian states and capitals, countries and capitals, latest who is who (India), international organizations, discoveries and inventions, UPSC model IQ testing questions, and audios of the speeches of great Indian leaders, informed a press release from the school.
Yellow House bagged the first position in quiz competition with 70 points, while Red House came second with 40 points.
The results of painting and drawing competitions will be declared on Monday after getting the result from respective judges, the release said.
