ICAR-NRC on Mithun observes vigilance awareness week

Medziphema, November 2 (MExN): The weeklong observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2019 under the Vigilance Cell of the Institute at ICAR-NRC on Mithun, Medziphema concluded on November 2. An ‘Integrity Pledge’ was taken by all the staff on October 28. 

The celebration, held under the theme ‘Integrity- A Way of Life’ was part of the Central Vigilance Commission’s initiative to promote public participation in promoting integrity and eradicating corruption by inviting schools, colleges, public and private organizations to participate in various competitions.

As part of the celebration, the Institute organized essay writing, extempore speech and painting competition for school students in and around the Institute at Medziphema and the staff of the Institute. The competitions were conducted from October 28 to November 2.  

Prizes were distributed to the winners at the valedictory programme. The programme ended with taking ‘Integrity Pledge’ by all the school children and staff present in the valedictory function and singing of National Anthem.
