MEDZIPHEMA, OCTOBER 31 (MExN): The ICAR-NRC on Mithun, Medziphema organized a valedictory programme for completion of six days training program on ‘Scientific Management of Livestock Farm vis-à-vis Mithun Husbandry’ for 30 students from the Veterinary Field Assistant Training Institute, Medziphema. The training was held from October 25 to 30.
The programme was organized as a part of capacity-building programme to educate and create awareness and enhance knowledge and skill about livestock husbandry.
Dr Nazrul Haque, Director In Charge congratulated the participants who completed the training programme and also emphasized on the need for similar programmes in the future. Dr Salang Temjen, Principal, VFA Training Institute welcomed the initiative of ICAR-NRC on Mithun for educating the students and also making them aware on the scientific management of livestock for uplifting the rural economy.
The chief guest, Dr Nizamuddin, Department of LPM, Professor & Head, Nagaland University, also welcomed the initiative.
