The objective of this lecture series is to create, nurture and encourage a dynamic academic environment among students, to enable them to think critically and be acquainted with topics from other departments. Topics are to be of contemporary relevance. In addition, the topics should be drawn from subject related topics of the respective departments.

The first lecture on the series was delivered by Rovikoto Yhoshu, Assistant Professor and HOD Dept. of Philosophy on the topic, 'The Problem of Free Will'. In continuation with the lecture series, on October 3, Dr Kikarenla Jamir, Assistant Professor (Department of English) delivered the second lecture titled, “Bridging the Gap through Soft Skills: From Classroom to the Workplace.”

She stressed on the importance of using soft skills as a professional and academic ability to enhance good proficiency skills. Her presentation ended as a reminder to the students to enable their soft skills not only as a part of their personality development but also a step towards professional and personal success. Dr Kikarenla asserted that soft skills are not fixed traits but rather abilities that can be cultivated and honed throughout life through conscious effort.
