DIMAPUR, JUNE 11 (MExN): The Institute of Chartered Financial Analyst of India (ICFAI) University, Tripura announced admissions to B. Tech programme for the session 2011-15 at the varsity campus in Agartala.
Senior faculty member of the university, Rupak Gupta made the announcement in Dimapur for the benefit of those from Nagaland who want to pursue the programme. Gupta informed this during an interaction with the local media on Saturday, June 11 at Hotel Saramati. “The B. Tech programme is a four-year, eight-semester, full time, campus based programme… provides cutting edge education to equip students with comprehensive and critical understanding in various branches of engineering.”
The faculty of science and technology of the university, further offers three-year MCA and BCA programmes. It was further informed that M. Tech and MA will be introduced in the coming academic year.
Admission fee for candidates selected is Rs. 10, 000; to be paid on or before July 18, 2011. Gupta said that the fee per semester is Rs. 31, 000 for ‘domicile’ students (those from the north east including Sikkim), while it will be Rs. 39, 000 for ‘non-domiciles’ (those from outside the region).
Application forms and prospectus can be had from the university campus headquartered at Kamalghat, Sadar, West Tripura - 799210 or can be downloaded @www.iutripura.edu.in. Filled application forms can be submitted at the aforementioned address. The last date for submission of forms will be June 18.
