Dimapur, November 3 (MExN): The Department of English at ICFAI University Nagaland organized a literary event titled “A Journey Through Words: The Inked Odyssey”, bringing together students, faculty, and alumni for a celebration of literature and creativity.
Held on November 1, the program featured three distinguished alumni as guest speakers: Dr. Inakali Chishi, Linthoi, and Tokaholi. Each alumna, a noted figure in art and literature, shared insights and experiences aimed at inspiring the next generation of writers and artists.
Dr. Inakali Chishi encouraged students by sharing her journey as a writer, emphasizing the importance of indigenous literature and the power of unique voices. Tokaholi advised aspiring writers to cultivate a habit of reading, reminding them to make the most of their time in the pursuit of literary growth. Linthoi performed a selection of her own songs.
The event was filled with artistic performances, including songs, poetry recitations, and dramatizations by students.
