'I'd go back to Two And A Half Men'

Six months after he was unceremoniously fired by Warner Brothers from his role on the sitcom Two And A Half Men, Charlie Sheen has admitted he would be open to returning to the show. The embattled 46-year-old actor talked candidly to Matt Lauer on Today Show and revealed that he loved the idea of making a cameo of the show. 'If they thought that was a good idea, then I am completely open for that,' Charlie said about a possible cameo on the show which is relaunching on Monday night after a summer long reboot. The new season is set to begin with a funeral service for Sheen's character Charlie Harper, who has been killed off. But Sheen insists that despite his character being 'dead' there is still an opportunity to return. 'There was no body at the funeral, there was no urn.'
When asked what he thought of his younger replacement, Charlie animatedly said he thought Ashton, 33, 'is going to do great'. The actor has been doing the rounds of the chat shows to promote his Roast which airs on Comedy Central on Monday - the same night that Two And A Half Men premieres. Appearing on Thursday's Tonight Show with Jay Leno the star radiated a forgiving mood toward his old workplace.
Asked by host Jay Leno if he's still angry at the sitcom's producers and network, he said no: He would have fired himself had he been in their shoes. Then he added with a laugh, 'Well, maybe not like they did.' Sheen was dumped last March after the actor railed against his bosses, and they blasted him for his unpredictable behavior as a drug-abusing, reckless playboy. 'It was bad,' Sheen said, summing up the clash, 'and I own my part in that, and I just want to make everything right.' Asked why he thought he should have been fired, Sheen explained, 'I should have been a little more responsible about the condition I was showing up in.'
