Longleng, November 15 (MExN): The IEC campaign on Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DJ-JGUA) was launched in Longleng district on November 15, alongside similar activities across the country. The official launch at the EAC office in Sakshi was led by MLA of 50 A/C, A Pongshi Phom, stated a DIPR report.
In addition to this, the campaign was also launched at the DC office, ADC office in Tamlu, Yachem EAC circle and Yongyah EAC Circle.
The event saw the participation of key officials including the Deputy Commissioner of Longleng, Superintendent of Police of Longleng and representatives from CSOs and the participating 20 selected villages. This initiative aims to foster sustainable development and upliftment of rural tribal communities across the region, the report.
