Is it really love that makes the world go round? Doesn’t matter if that’s not the reason behind it because the world would still go round and there would be no need for us to change the way it revolves.
Yet again another hopeful year starts and it isn’t long before the world celebrates Valentine’s Day - An occasion commemorated in honour of Saint Valentine who stood for the cause of marriage and gave his all, to meet the needs of young lovers who lived during his time.It was about the year 270. That was centuries back but because somebody believed in love and was martyred for it, 14th February (the day he died) still remains a day when people exchange love notes and think of love and friendship.
Like yesterday, even though, today times have changed so much more than we can imagine one thing that has constantly been sparkling life is love. It is something deep and intense, a feeling that can match no other. Love is the reason why we could survive through many of our problems. It subsides every fear and settles every dust. Love surpasses every ugly moments and it is this feeling that keeps us alive when it comes to the matter of the heart.
We may not actually host parties or make big plans for Valentine’s day but I am sure this particular day fills every heart that believes in love, with a feeling of goodness. It is not every day that we make a point to think of our loved ones. Those closest to our hearts and feel nice about the thought that we have somebody to love us through thick and thin. This occasion is a wonderful reminder that love is a very special ingredient that adds up to making life so beautiful. Sunshine or rain, it is love that sees and feels the things that our minds often want to ignore.
Imagine there is no love, imagine our world without it, will we ever make it through? There would be a deep hole left in our souls if we were to tread each day without it. We may not often realise it but it is love that works magically every time a problem is solved or a misunderstanding is understood.
Valentine’s day may pass us by even before we realise its there, or maybe, we would do something special and atleast for that day feel love around us or perhaps send greetings to our loved ones or simply tell them that we love them for what they are to us( thats the least we can do ). But should it stop there? We have another 364 days that’s completes a year, where we could do a lot of things to make relationships stronger and more loving. It could be just anybody you have around you - Friends, Families, Neighbours, Soulmates, etc. Relationships of any kind are never perfect. I actually don’t wish they are because it’s the differences and the setbacks that makes it all the more interesting. We could give in a little more effort to make our relations better everyday.
Today or tomorrow, we are going to need a lot of love to keep us going. Life’s all about knowing how to love people and making this world a loving place to live in. It is an undying force that keeps the world moving and that it is the most relying thing that we can ever find.
Valentine’s day is a nice reminder, which we might forget in the long run that Love is the most priceless thing that we can own, that we ought to see love in everything we do and to feel it in situations that do not offer much hope and to believe that love has the power to conquer it all. If Love is in the air, You can be sure its always around You.
